Powers of 300 kW, 500 kW and 600 kW
Fast charging systems with a power range from 300 kW to 600 kW are recommended when the vehicle does not have sufficient autonomy to complete the service and needs to make fast charges during the journey.
Charging stations for this type of opportunity chargers are placed at strategic points in cities. This makes it possible to charge several buses or lines. Normally, stop points at the end/beginning of the line are used to charge up to 85% of the battery in minutes.
The power ratings of the Jema chargers vary between 300 kW, 500 kW and 600 kW.
As with the slow-charging systems, the opportunity chargers are bi-directional, enabling G2V and V2G energy flow. Charging is carried out in accordance with ISO15118. They also have remote data access via Modbus TCP/IP or OCPP1.6 protocol.
The fast charging systems are approved for indoor and outdoor installations.

Connection to up/down pantograph:
The connection of fast chargers to up/down pantographs allows installations and bus lines to be adapted to the needs of each customer.
Each of the options offers a series of advantages such as automated charging, space and vehicle consumption savings or versatility in the charging process, for example.

Power: 50 kW, 2×50 kW, 100 kW and 150 kW
Jema Energy has developed a new generation of ECI series chargers for electric buses and trucks.
In this way, it presents to the heavy-duty electromobility market the first modular and interoperable chargers in its wide range of products. The aim of these charging systems is to maximise the performance of the installation and minimise operating and maintenance costs.
The ECI series comprises two types of chargers. On the one hand, modular chargers with two outputs providing a maximum power of 50 kW per output. They offer 50 kW, 2×50 kW or 100 kW charging. On the other hand, the ECI 150 kW version.
Main features of ECI series
- Interoperability: The chargers are interoperable and conform with ISO 15118 [-1,-2,-3] and IEC 61851 [-1,-23,-24] standards. Because of that, the chargers can be used with any brand and offer greater flexibility for depots and operation lines.
- Bi-directional: G2V and V2G
- Communication modules: The communication modules are configurated for remote control (Modbus/TCP/IP) and for local control by touch screen.
- Galvanic isolation and minimal harmonic distortion, ≤3%
- Integrated grid analysers for precise consumption analysis.
- Monitoring using OCPP 1.6 and charging management
