In addition, Jema is part of the CreatioTechnological Centre that unites the capabilities and synergies of the 5 companies that belong to the Irizar Industrial Group.

Jema participates in the IZELBUS project:

The primary goal of the IZELBUS (safe electric bus), project is to turn the 100% electric bus into a completely safe mode of transportation for drivers, passengers, other users of the public roadways, maintenance staff and rescue team staff. To meet that goal, technological challenges and gaps in existing regulations for electric bus safety must be overcome. This goal will make it possible to position Irizar, Jema and INSIA y‐UPM as worldwide leaders in zero emissions buses.

The project is financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness within the framework of the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011, within the National Public-Private Cooperation Programme – sub-programme INNPACTO and has dossier number IPT-2012-1359-370000.
